Marolo - Dolcetto 70cl

De Dolcetto druif is een bekende blauwe druif in Noord Italië, die vooral veel rond Alba groeit. De naam betekent ‘kleine zoete’. In de wijn is dat slechts met mate terug te herkennen. Paolo Marolo begon in 1977 zijn Distilleria in Alba (Piemonte) en begon direct allerlei druivensoorten apart van elkaar te distilleren in kleine au bain-marie ketels; zo ook de Dolcetto druif. De Grappa van deze druif is vol en krachtig met veel fruitige en bloemen tonen. Deze Grappa heeft niet op hout gerijpt, daarom is hij blank. Grappa van de Dolcetto druif is tamelijk zeldzaam.
