Cardhu, 15 years 70cl

Cardhu is afkomstig van een van de oudste Speyside distilleerderijen. 2 vastberaden vrouwen zijn grotendeels verantwoordelijk voor het succes ervan. Helen Cumming, die de distilleerderij in 1811 samen met haar man oprichtte, mag gerust de eerste ‘woman of whisky' worden genoemd, en haar schoondochter Elizabeth werd bekend als de 'Queen of the Whisky Trade'. 15 jaar gerijpt, is dit een uitgave, die een zilveren medaille kreeg op de San Francisco International Wine and Spirit Competition 2014.
