Talisker, 18 years 70cl

Talisker is opgericht in 1830, en lange tijd had het de eer de enige distilleerderij op Isle of Skye te zijn. Door de recente toename van het aantal kleine distilleerderijen is dat niet meer het geval, maar Talisker is nog steeds met afstand de oudste en meest iconische distilleerderij op het eiland. De Talisker, 10 Y is terecht een klassieker, maar de Talisker, 18 Y is absoluut een stap omhoog. Het is een meesterwerk van een van de meest legendarische distilleerderijen in Schotland. In 2007 werd deze whisky uitgeroepen tot ‘Beste Single Malt Whisky ter Wereld’ bij de World Whiskies Awards.
