Lord Elcho, 15 years 70cl

Lord Elcho was de oudste zoon van de 5e Graaf van Wemyss, James Wemyss. Dat verklaart ook meteen waarom deze whisky naar hem is vernoemd: de Lord Elcho, 15 Y is namelijk een blended whisky van Wemyss Malts, van de familie die ook eigenaar is van de Kingsbarns distilleerderij. Lord Elcho was een groot aanhanger van Bonnie Prince Charlie, maar hij verloor zijn titel na de historische slag om Culloden in de 18e eeuw. Hij leeft voort dankzij deze whisky, die bestaat uit verschillende malt en graanwhisky’s.
