Ledaig 1996 - Sherry Finish 70cl

Ledaig wordt geproduceerd door de enige distilleerderij van het eiland Mull, de Tobermory Distillery, die ook de Tobermory Single Malt in haar assortiment heeft. De helft van de whisky die hier wordt gemaakt wordt, is zeer turfrijk en wordt verkocht als ‘Ledaig Single Malt’. Men gebruikt refill, sherry- en bourbonvaten. Ledaig heeft, in tegenstelling tot Tobermory, een veel hoger turfgehalte. Deze Ledaig 1996 kreeg een finish in oloroso sherryvaten, wat een fraaie whisky oplevert met een mix van rokerige, kruidige en zoete tonen.
