Kaiyo - Mizunara Oak 70cl

Mizunara is een kenmerkend type Japans eiken. Het is niet het eenvoudigst te bewerken en biedt allerlei uitdagingen voor kuipers en whiskyproducenten. Toch is Japanse whisky die in Mizunara heeft gerijpt erg gewild, deels vanwege de unieke smaakinvloed die het hout op de whisky heeft, maar ook omdat het zeldzaam is. Kaiyo Mizunara Oak is een van de weinig beschikbare op Mizunara gerijpte whisky’s. Interessant om te weten is dat de vaten Kaiyo de laatste 3 maanden doorbrengen op zee, alvorens de whisky wordt gebotteld.
