In 1820 opende John Walker zijn bescheiden kruidenierszaak in Kilmarnock – niet wetend dat dit de whiskywereld voorgoed zou veranderen. Twee eeuwen later laat Master Blender Jim Beveridge zich inspireren door de originele smaaknotities uit John's archieven.
