Irishman - Founders Reserve 70cl

The Irishman – Founder’s Reserve is een blend van twee unieke stijlen: single malt en single pot still. Single malt whisky wordt van gemoute gerst gemaakt, maar voor single pot still wordt ook ongemoute gerst gebruikt. Dat lijkt misschien als een te verwaarlozen verschil, maar de smaak van beide stijlen is opvallend anders. The Founder’s Reserve is drie keer gedistilleerd en rijpt in ex-bourbonvaten. De whisky won al een gouden medaille bij The International Spirits Challenge in Londen, en kreeg 93 punten in Jim Murray’s Whisky Bible.
