De familie Haig is een distilleerdynastie uit de Lowlands van Schotland. Ze zijn zelfs de oudste whiskyfamilie van Schotland: de familiegeschiedenis is terug te traceren tot de 13e eeuw. Haig Gold Label is iets jonger, maar stamt nog steeds uit de 19e eeuw. Vele jaren was het een van de bestverkopende whisky’s ter wereld. Haig Gold Label drinkt makkelijk weg en bestaat uit 60% single grain whisky van Cameronbridge en 40% malt blended whisky, onder andere van Glenkinchie.
