Glenrothes, 18 years 70cl

Glenrothes noemt het de Vier Hoeken. Daarmee doelen ze op de fundering waarop iedere Glenrothes single malt wordt gebouwd. Het water is één van de Hoeken, net als een langzame distillatie. Dat zorgt ervoor dat onzuiverheden verdwijnen en er een lichtere en fruitige spirit ontstaat. Sherryvaten zorgen daarnaast voor een unieke smaakbeleving. Als laatste is er de kleur van Glenrothes, die nooit kunstmatig wordt aangepast. Gezamenlijk vormen deze Vier Hoeken de basis van de Glenrothes 18 Y, een van de nieuwste whisky’s van deze distilleerderij, die heeft gerijpt in first-fill sherryvaten.
