Chivas Regal 16 Year Old – Charles Leclerc Limited Edition is een blended Scotch whisky uit Schotland. Deze gelimiteerde uitgave is ontwikkeld in samenwerking met Charles Leclerc, Global Brand Ambassador van Chivas Regal en Formule 1-coureur. Het getal 16 speelt hierin een centrale rol. Niet alleen verwijst het naar Leclercs racenummer, maar ook naar de samenstelling van de blend. Voor deze whisky zijn 16 zorgvuldig geselecteerde whisky’s gebruikt die allemaal minimaal 16 jaar hebben gerijpt. De blend bevat zowel malt- als grain whisky’s uit verschillende Schotse distilleerderijen. Een belangrijk onderdeel is Longmorn malt whisky, een stijl waar Charles Leclerc persoonlijk de voorkeur aan geeft. De whisky rijpt op eikenhouten vaten, wat zorgt voor invloed van hout, kruiden en rijpe fruittonen. Deze release is de eerste officiële 16 jaar oude expressie van Chivas Regal en werd speciaal ontwikkeld voor deze samenwerking met Charles Leclerc.
