Bruichladdich - Port Charlotte, Scottish Barley 70cl

De Port Charlotte distilleerderij is gebouwd in 1829 door Colin Campbell. Deze whisky is volledig gedistilleerd uit inheemse Schotse gerstsoorten. De spirit is geturfd tot een pittige 40 ppm. De vaten zijn zorgvuldig geselecteerd door Master Distiller Jim McEwan, die stelt dat, om het karakter van jongere whisky optimaal naar voren te laten komen, een alcoholpercentage van 50% ideaal is. Bij lagere percentages komen de aroma’s van het hout sterker naar voren. Prachtig evenwicht tussen de bloemige elegantie van Bruichladdich en stevige turfrook.
