Spey - Trutinà 70cl
Speyside is the most prominent of Scottish Whisky regions, but confusingly there’s also a distillery called Speyside. It’s a quiet player in the world of single malt and has only been in production since 1990. The whisky-making process at Speyside Distillery is chill and relaxed. Fermentation takes a long time, distillation is slow. It makes for a lighter style, perfectly displayed in the Spey -Trutina. Matured in bourbon casks, the name comes from a Latin way of describing balance.
