The Glenlivet 15 Y has its own distinctive character which it gets from a special maturation regime. One of the most popular Scotch single malt whiskies, part of The Glenlivet 15 Y matures in Limousin oak — a type of oak usually reserved for the famous cognacs from France. Because of the low density of the oak the whisky can sink deep into the wood. It gives The Glenlivet 15 Y a pleasant spiciness. 40% Vol. |
