in New Zealands Distilling goes back to 1838. This magnificent single malt is produced by the Willowbank Distillery in Dunedin on the South Island and has aged for 20 years in oak barrels. Production ceased in 1997 when the business was sold to Foster, who bought the last 600 barrels and thus possesses the oldest whisky, ever matured in New Zealand.
